*To start off, a huge congratulations to my older sister, Sarah, and her new husband, John! They have been together for over 8 years now and finally tied the knot a couple weeks ago. Since they would be driving through Las Vegas on the way to the family reunion, they decided to have a wedding on the way! I'm not sure if you would call it eloping, though, cause all of us knew they were going to do it and it was in fact my mom's idea. So anyway, they got hitched with our brother, uncle, and a few friends in attendance at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. They are planning on having a big reception/celebration sometime next year. Now we all need to learn how to spell her new last name! Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Bartnikowski!

*In other news, we just found out we will be moving yet again!! I really hate moving. We are staying in the same city, but looking for a new rental home. Our landlord is putting this house up for sale and our lease is up in October. We are allowed to stay until it sells (which could be years!) but we would rather just look for some place else. There are things that we have really loved about this house and others that have become deal- breakers. It is pretty, has a brand new kitchen, and is large enough for us. On the down side, the yard is a huge pain to keep up, the garage is not attached, and it is 100 years old. Believe me, there are lots of problems when your house is 100 years old (especially in the winter). We have had tons of problems with the plumbing and the house is FREEZING in the winter. So, we are looking for another home. We are hoping to find something big enough. I have only found a couple so far that have 4 bedrooms and are in our budget. We'll let you know when we find it! In the meantime, I'm glad we never finished unpacking from our last move!
*Last but not least, Josie is 10 months old! You will see many pics of her in my upcoming posts but I'll post just a few here. This is what Josie is like at 10 months:
*She has 5 teeth. 2 on top and 3 on bottom. She likes to grind them together which makes me cringe.
*She can stand up indefinitely without holding on to anything. She is SO close to walking! She of course walks if holding onto something and has been standing up without holding on more and more lately.
*She loves to clap, but can also wave and give kisses.
*She points to things in books and loves being read to.
*She has been sleeping a little less lately. I can't tell if it is permanent or just from all the vacation time changes.
*She sometimes says "hi" or "bye-bye" and still likes to say "mama" or "daddy"
*Her hair is getting longer and is forming little curls in the back. So cute!
*Her eyes are finally starting to settle on a color. They are still greenish-blue but getting greener every month.
*She is almost always smiling which means I am almost always smiling.
These pics were taken at about 9-ish mos. at her first real concert. We went to see "1964" at the La Porte County Fair. They are a decent Beatles tribute band. Josie LOVED it! It was way past her bedtime, but she was having so much fun! She would bounce up and down and clap to the music. She even did it in time! She would also sing really loud. What a little musician!

Give Sarah a big Congrats from me!
And happy 10 month b-day to Josie. Can you believe you'll have a 1-year-old soon? Crazy. The pics are so cute. I love the one of her singing. She looks like she's really belting it out! :)
Wow! It goes by way too fast!!! I cant believe she is 10 months, but then again Grant turns 1 on Monday. Ahhhhh!!! Way too fast!!!!!
Congrats to your sister and I am sooo sorry that you have to move AGAIN!!
Call me when you get a chance. We gave our renters a price to buy our house. They have to give us a final offer by Oct. 1. Who knows, maybe we will sell our homes the same month and be life twins again.
